Course Details

The K25 is the perfect choice for amateur trail runners: the 26.6-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 870 meters leads through the heart of the Tyrolean mountains. The varied trails make it ideal for trail runners who want to experience alpine nature up close.

Who is this race suitable for?

Experienced amateur runners who want to try trail running and are no longer satisfied with 15 km. The technical level here is kept simple and runners can look forward to beautiful trail sections.

Course Overview

This year, the K25 promises a perfect mix of distance, beautiful trails, and challenging elevation gains. From Mutters via Birgitz to Kranebitten and up to the Nordkette. Variety is guaranteed, culminating in the finish line on Europaratsallee. A trail half marathon that leaves nothing to be desired.

Mandatory Equipment

Clothing

  • Closed trail running shoes (grippy sole)

  • Rain jacket with hood (minimum 10k water column recommended)

Refreshments

  • Beverage container with a capacity of 0.5 liters (no cups at the aid stations!)

  • Food (>500 kcal)

Safety

  • Identity card (only for race bib distribution)

  • Mobile phone (smartphone/cell phone)

  • Mountain rescue insurance

  • First aid kit

    • 1× compress (10 x 10 cm)
    • 2× bandage packs / elastic bandages
    • 1× gloves
    • 1× triangular bandage (recommended)
    • 4× adhesive bandages (recommended)
  • Rescue blanket (210 x 160 cm)

Additionally

Cold/bad weather gear

  • Long sleeve or short sleeve shirt + arm warmers

  • Long pants or leg warmers

  • Buff / Cap / Bandana

  • Gloves

Cold weather gear is an essential part of the mandatory equipment. Depending on weather conditions, the organization may require participants to carry this additional mandatory equipment.
