INNSBRUCK, February 28th, .2026 – Garmin DACH, one of the world’s leading active-tech companies, is entering into a new partnership with the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival (IATF). Starting this year, Garmin will be the official timing partner of one of the most prestigious trail running events in the Alpine region, underscoring its long-term commitment to endurance, outdoor and mountain sports.
From 29 April to 2 May 2026 the IATF will kick off the European trail running season again. As the largest independent trail running event in Europe, the adidas Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival will mark the start of 2026.
The festival offers 8,000 runners of all levels spectacular trails through the impressive Tyrolean mountains – from technically demanding passages to enjoyable panoramic routes. This sporting highlight is accompanied by an extensive expo with around 50 exhibitors, where over 60,000 visitors can discover the latest trends, products and innovations from the world of trail running. The IATF combines sporting achievements with an alpine-urban experience, once again making Innsbruck the international meeting place for the trail running community.
