Trail Hunt
For everyone who qualified at the Vertical on Thursday, the pursuit continues on Friday on the Trail Hunt course. Athletes within the top 50 or within a maximum time gap of 15 minutes qualify for the pursuit start.
Mandatory Equipment
Clothing
- Closed trail running shoes (grippy sole)
Safety
Identity card (only for race bib distribution)
Mobile phone (smartphone with installed SOS EU ALPS App)
mountain rescue insurance
Rescue blanket (210 x 160 cm)
Additionally
Cold/bad weather gear
Long sleeve or short sleeve shirt + arm warmers
Rain jacket with hood (minimum 10k water column recommended)
Further information
Crewing is only permitted at the official aid stations. Please note that not all stations are accessible by car or have parking facilities.
Doping tests can be random or based on ranking.
The race offers attractive prize money totaling €30,000, which will only be paid out after a negative doping test. Only participants in the pursuit start will be counted in the overall ranking.
